Hi! My name is Aline Van Neutgem, and I am a student at the CUNY Graduate Center, currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science. My area of investigation is Gender-Based Violence, with primary interests in Comparative Public Policy and Feminist Theory. Before coming to the Graduate Center, I was a Public Policy researcher at the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil, where I’m originally from. I have had experiences with qualitative and quantitative methods, both in academia and in the industry, but I am a qualitative researcher at heart. I’m also a coffee lover, and in my spare time, I enjoy sewing and reading.
